For each contact you have with social and health care services you will receive an after visit summary to the Events page in Maisa.
The visit summary brings together the key information related to the contact, such as:
- appointment name, date, and time
- details of the care or service unit
- name of the provider involved in the contact
- reason for the appointment
- topics discussed during the appointment.
Depending on the situation, the visit summary may also include, for example:
- lab tests and other examinations ordered for you
- instructions related to the appointment
- measurements related to the appointment, such as blood pressure readings
- procedures that were done.
The after visit summary will be shown in Maisa after the provider has made a note of the event or contact. You will receive a notification of the visit summary according to your notification settings if it includes a note made by the provider. Most regular appointments include a note entered by the provider.
For vaccination appointments or in connection with patient/client messages the provider may not make a separate note. In such cases, the visit summary will be shown in Maisa, but no separate notification will be sent.
